A seminar on book design poses the question of how to design an electronic book for Rem Koolhaas' seminal text. My proposal uses the imagery surrounding neon signage, a staple in junkspaces, for the driver of the ebook. In the preliminary investigation, I developed a monospace typeface in which to set several key quotes of the text. The typeface is featured in a microsite which reinterprets the article for electronic format.
